About Epico

Our Name

Epico means A Generous Community
Our name comes from two Greek words:

  • Epi – Generous
  • Co – Community

It reminds us who we are called to be. We want to be generous with our time, our resources and our love. We also want to build a community where everyone feels welcome, valued and connected.

Our Core Scripture

The heart of Epico is shaped by 2 Corinthians 9:6–11, which reminds us that generosity changes lives.

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously… You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
2 Corinthians 9:6–11 (NIV)
